TDS movie day out @ the grand cathay on monday. Watched G.I Joe :D The show was not bad, kinda deafening too, hah. Thrilling.

Went to eat tau huay after that. Alicia thought Aloysius and i are siblings cause she said we look alike?? Lols.


Tuesday, had the Design Gets Physical event at 6.30pm. 30+ people were confirmed guests on FB, but in the end only about 20 turned up! D: And only about half ran, some just sat there to take photos and chat. Lol. Anyway those who ran, ran 2.4 at the tracks. I think my willpower to run has deproved cause i walked for some distance =/ I used to run 2.4 w/o stopping to walk. Now i owe Amber 100 plus and hip hop jelly because i lost to him in the 2.4, expected lah! Bully me only!

After running, sat down at the track to chat and slack. Then went to loft to play foosball! Teamed with Amber against Aaron and Lijin. My second time playing but won them :D Super surprised with myself, cause i think i tyco only. Then Aaron and Lijin wanted to play 3 rounds to determine the winner and we lost in the end =/ Tsk shouldn't have played 3 rounds. Haha. But was a nice game.



Wednesday, went to the crowbar awards seminar at nyp with Aaron, since we got nothing to do hahah. Jannson and a few other TDS people went too. The seminar's about some design stuff and advertising. Sat at the auditorium and listened to talks by different people for 4 hours! Omg sit till butt pain. Thought there would be an interval in between or something but no! Went amk hub to eat pepper lunch after that.


Oh and i found a job! :DDD Happened to ask Amber for any job lobangs, he asked his workplace's manager whether they're hiring part-timers and yesss they are! :D And it's something i'm kinda looking for, waitress! At Canelé, Shaw. No need interview some more, can start the next day! Lol lucky me :D And i realised Lijin works there too! Just that Amber and Lijin aren't working for now since they have school. Maybe they'll come work during design school holiday which is about 3 weeks later.

Thursday, first day of work. The people there are okay, not very friendly =/ Manager's quite strict. But lucky there's at least one nice person, JR a filipino guy who's doing his training there. He treats me like his little sister, haha :D Taught me a lot too.

Learned a lot within the first day :) Like how to set the table, need to refill water after customers' cups are half empty, need to carry tray with one hand only, how to wipe cutlery more quickly, how to clean up tables, not to lean on anything, need to serve the customer nearer to you first etc.

But i stood for more than 6 hours straight because i didn't dare ask whether i can sit down or rest or what. Backache ah =/ Didn't dare to text much too.


I won a NUM boston bag! :O Participated in the seventeen magazine lucky draw thingy quite long ago because i wanted a sling bag at that time. I didn't expect to win and even forgot about it already! And omg i won it! Gonna claim it soon. Might sell it since i already bought a backpack i really like.

After this week's lucky happenings, i've concluded that Amber's my lucky star! :D Been very lucky after i start chatting with him these few days.
