I'M BACK! :D
Hong kong was great :D Shall split the trip into a few posts! This post shall be an overview + some random stuffs first, while i delete, edit and sort my photos.
I like how the focus is on the bubbles :D
HK is full of mountains and hills, everyday is like hiking pls! At the point of time when i realised this point, i was at a busy MTR station and looked around, i didn't see any fat people! Lol. In addition to my point, my relatives i've met there are all slim! They brought us to some places by walking, we said it was tiring, and they said it's nothing much to them! Oh and i think the healthy chinese food in HK is also part of the reason to why hongkongers are slim and fit. Maybe fat people can go there a month or so, i'm sure they'll come back fitter!
Temperature there was around 30++°C in the day, around the same as singapore, which means it's hot there too =/ Somehow i prefer to go to cold countries, where we wouldn't perspire and can wear jackets/scarves, an experience different from the usual hot climate in s'pore.
Everyone there speaks cantonese, which makes me feel like home. I'm not from HK but my parents are, and we all speak canto among the whole family. Hence the feeling of home, since i hardly speak canto to others in s'pore.
I realised their service is good, maybe not as good as taiwan but way better than s'pore! They're warm and have glib tongues.
Their theme parks aren't as good, as beautiful, as big as korea's. The whole of Disneyland could be explored in a day, unlike Lotte World and Everland at korea where one day isn't enough! But definitely way bigger than s'pore's theme parks duh.
Somehow we didn't buy much as compared to previous overseas trips. Maybe my standard has raised, which means i won't have the urge to wanna buy something as easily as before. Or maybe somehow not much caught my eye?
Before boarding the plane to HK, i was afraid i would be bored even with ipod/psp/movies on board. Usually if i go overseas, a book would be the best to keep me entertained. So i bought this book, Deception Point by Dan Brown, cause the cover looks nice. In the end, i didn't even touch my ipod & psp during the whole trip! Only watched one movie on the way to HK, and read all the way on the flight back. Read whenever i was bored and before i slept too.
I can say, THIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC :D An awesome suspense and thriller novel. And i loveee the ending :D Gosh i can't wait for it to appear on the silver screen, i hope it gets filmed into a movie just like The Da Vinci Code & Angels and Demons!
Oh and i think you can learn a lot from Dan Brown's books. Like from The Da Vinci Code, i've learnt about the Louvre, the golden ratio, the holy grail, some christianity etc. From Deception Point, i've learnt about meteorites, some ice and ocean knowledge, some political stuff.
After coming back, i went swimming the next 2 days! :D
Randoms:
- Had dsc meeting last week. And went for dinner at kfc with leslie andy zac joy cassie jannson. They all said i was eating real slow and kept teasing me about it! D: The guys even stared at me and counted how many chews i took to finish chewing a bite of food, LOL.
- An auto door couldn't sense me! I was walking towards the closing door, expecting it to open once i was right in front of it. But it didn't open, lol. So i tried stomping the ground, walked around but it still didn't open. So i tried using my fingers to pry the door open but didn't succeed. Then a couple came and the door opened automatically. LOL.
- Anyone knows how to edit tumblr codes? As in adding profile, archives etc. Need help! I wanna post on tumblr.
- Kosol said i look like snsd's tiffany! Do i?
- We sub comms got the dsc shirt during the meeting :D
& 2 overdue pics.

Just one spark starts a fire

Last week, teachers day. Went back to cchy to watch concert and eat bar chor mee. Glad the drink stall auntie still remembers what each of us always drink :D Watched UP again with sy kaiting jaslin at causeway point, since The Proposal was sold out already D: We cabbed down and the funny driver asked us many IQ questions and i got most correct, heh.
Anyway for the rest of the week, watched Bandslam with darl, was okay only. Had dinner with aloy twice. Watched The Proposal with mum, was awesome. Laughed till i cried man, esp the dancing part. Watched G-force with ruohan, was nice too, cute stuff :D
This week, went shopping with dearie and was fruitful :D Got everything i wanted, super happy. Netball/soccer at school with dsc people and many turned up, goodie :D Played volleyball too. And we played till the lights went out! Didn't even keep track of time. Was jiahui's birthday so had a mini celebration. Then headed opposite school to eat prata. Managed to catch the last 969 bus @ 1145 to yishun with aloy. Shall upload pics on that day after they're uploaded on FB.

Friday, ate sakae buffet with dearie and sweetie! Actually planned to go sing K but had trouble deciding this and that, so change of plan! Walked alot that day and stuffs. Lazy to elaborate heh. I'm so deprived of exercise that even walking makes me feel healthy already, lol. We ate the buffet for almost 3 hours! (Y) Full ttm. There's something wrong with the quality of the photos after they're uploaded, no idea why =/
Saturday went lido to watch The Time Traveller's Wife with mum, and it was okay i guess. Quite confusing, about the time travelling thing. So does the male lead ever die? Hmm.
