TDS movie day out @ the grand cathay on monday. Watched G.I Joe :D The show was not bad, kinda deafening too, hah. Thrilling.

Went to eat tau huay after that. Alicia thought Aloysius and i are siblings cause she said we look alike?? Lols.


Tuesday, had the Design Gets Physical event at 6.30pm. 30+ people were confirmed guests on FB, but in the end only about 20 turned up! D: And only about half ran, some just sat there to take photos and chat. Lol. Anyway those who ran, ran 2.4 at the tracks. I think my willpower to run has deproved cause i walked for some distance =/ I used to run 2.4 w/o stopping to walk. Now i owe Amber 100 plus and hip hop jelly because i lost to him in the 2.4, expected lah! Bully me only!

After running, sat down at the track to chat and slack. Then went to loft to play foosball! Teamed with Amber against Aaron and Lijin. My second time playing but won them :D Super surprised with myself, cause i think i tyco only. Then Aaron and Lijin wanted to play 3 rounds to determine the winner and we lost in the end =/ Tsk shouldn't have played 3 rounds. Haha. But was a nice game.



Wednesday, went to the crowbar awards seminar at nyp with Aaron, since we got nothing to do hahah. Jannson and a few other TDS people went too. The seminar's about some design stuff and advertising. Sat at the auditorium and listened to talks by different people for 4 hours! Omg sit till butt pain. Thought there would be an interval in between or something but no! Went amk hub to eat pepper lunch after that.


Oh and i found a job! :DDD Happened to ask Amber for any job lobangs, he asked his workplace's manager whether they're hiring part-timers and yesss they are! :D And it's something i'm kinda looking for, waitress! At Canelé, Shaw. No need interview some more, can start the next day! Lol lucky me :D And i realised Lijin works there too! Just that Amber and Lijin aren't working for now since they have school. Maybe they'll come work during design school holiday which is about 3 weeks later.

Thursday, first day of work. The people there are okay, not very friendly =/ Manager's quite strict. But lucky there's at least one nice person, JR a filipino guy who's doing his training there. He treats me like his little sister, haha :D Taught me a lot too.

Learned a lot within the first day :) Like how to set the table, need to refill water after customers' cups are half empty, need to carry tray with one hand only, how to wipe cutlery more quickly, how to clean up tables, not to lean on anything, need to serve the customer nearer to you first etc.

But i stood for more than 6 hours straight because i didn't dare ask whether i can sit down or rest or what. Backache ah =/ Didn't dare to text much too.


I won a NUM boston bag! :O Participated in the seventeen magazine lucky draw thingy quite long ago because i wanted a sling bag at that time. I didn't expect to win and even forgot about it already! And omg i won it! Gonna claim it soon. Might sell it since i already bought a backpack i really like.

After this week's lucky happenings, i've concluded that Amber's my lucky star! :D Been very lucky after i start chatting with him these few days.

HOLIDAY HAS STARTED FOR ME, YAY :D
Was the last day of school for this semester, for my class, because we have free block up next, then design school holiday for a month. Stayed back awhile to complete my final submission. On the way to hand in part of my assignment, i saw Leslie and Aaron playing the paper ball we got from the national day concert goodie bag in school the other time. So went in to join them in the game :D Cassie and Jolynn were there too, doing their work. Was fun, had not exercised for so long already. EH DEARIE LET'S GO TO GYM OFTEN AGAIN WHEN YOU'RE FREE OKAY!

Aaron left to hand in his work, then came back with Zac and Andy! Oh and all of us there are subcomms btw :D

Since the ball was made of paper, it got torn quite often and we kept taping it back to continue playing, haha. Were saying that the whole ball would be taped up soon. And after some time, the ball was kinda beyond redemption already. So, we suggested making a ball with tape, and Leslie and i set to work! End product:



Awesome not. It's much nicer to play than the paper ball, and it would never be torn! :D It wouldn't get deflated easily too.

Played for long, went down to eat, watched videos, played crazy taxi etc. Then mum came to fetch me and we ate at ikea with cousin. Swedish meatballs, :9


Friday, dearie felt like coming TP to see see, so ed and i brought her to try our design canteen's famous western food. Ate tgt with sugar, ruting and sheryl since they were there too :) Ate frolick before going back. Oh and on the way back, part of our convo was about pet society, and i realised dearie brings her pet to my house to shower! Hahaha xD Ed even imitated the sounds our pets make, darn funny please. Esp the one when we scrub our pets with soap, LOL.

One of my assignments. Supposed to make a movie poster. Keejan (lecturer) said a few of the other lecturers complimented it when they walked past and saw the exhibition :D


Final assignment. Supposed to choose any topic, and do like 4 posters according to the layout conditions keejan gave, but creatively. The whole picture above is actually separated into 4 A3. I did on momongas, a kind of jap flying squirrel. Photoshopped different pictures together. Looks ok here but quite horrible after it's printed out =/ The text above are dummy text so don't bother to read if you know jap, hah.

- Realised there's a new room in pet society! So i decorated it with the seashell theme, so pretty :D

And spammed toy, fairytale and faerie mystery eggs to complete the collection :D Bought like 100 over for each category and opened like crazy to get the ones i don't have okay. Hahaha.


And, because all my rooms are decorated already, but i really wanna decorate one with my faerie collection, so i tried putting the furniture in the garden and it worked! Lol. Just that cannot put the faerie wallpaper.

Lucky in faerie costume in faerie room! I still prefer lucky in its casual attire though, heh.


Looking forward to meeting joey sunnv and clique tmr, and temasek design school's G.I Joe movie outing on monday :D
