MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Been long since i've spent christmas in singapore. And it's sianz i'd rather spend it at some other country, there's much more atmosphere there. I remember korea having snow, a lot of people were carrying x'mas cakes on x'mas eve. Many were wearing reindeer/santa hat clips/hairbands. At australia, houses were decorated beautifully with x'mas lights and we had fun admiring them. How it's like in singapore: watch movie, dinner, gift exchange, some friends even slept the day away at home. So sad right. :(

DOTC1 was okay, i guess the absence of many people made it less high. My empire was Holae! I liked how we did a great job during the mass game planning and coming up of cheers. Our game was like fool-proof because hardly anyone asked any question during the presentation ;D My idea leh! Don't pray pray :D
I liked the 'kidnapped' game too, one member of every empire was 'kidnapped' without us knowing, and we had to search for him. The kidnapper would sms us the clues, tasks, riddles, locations, which would lead us to the kidnapped member.
Had cup noodles for supper after that, and sufficient sleep yay :D

Had steamboat with clique, edward, qimian, sherman, bryan at sherman's house and it was great :D Had a mini early celebration for darl's birthday. Will celebrate again next week. I still don't like the taste of alcohol =/ But drank a bottle of breezer for the fun of it. And red wine still tastes damn yucky, i wonder when i'll learn to appreciate it.

Bought a chio hard disk and thumbdrive from funan like finally :D Bought 2 new books from borders too. Mum said those shall be my x'mas presents lol. And i've been drinking a lot of starbucks lately. Caramel frap is niceee too! Love the combination of caramel + whipped cream.


Random. I like my toenails and the sandals.

Mum agreed to buy me a new camera for my birthday (!!!) :D Am considering whether to get a DSLR or a semi-pro compact one like the lumix lx3 or leica d-lux 4. Of course a dslr would be best, but i like to bring my camera everywhere with me, and i'm damn lazy to bring a bulky dslr out for photoshoots or occasions. Will have to learn to use it too. The good thing is, i'll need one for my photography module next time so if i get one soon i don't have to borrow from school. And a dslr takes better photos, and i won't have to upgrade (as in if i buy a semi-pro one, i might have to upgrade and buy a dslr next time anyway).
But i really want a compact one which would be convenient to bring around. An upgrade from my Sony Cybershot T2. Help? I really really really need advice.

School's starting tmr SIANZXZX i haven't enjoyed myself enough yet =/ Anyway my lessons for this block would be 3pm-6pm everyday. At least i can still sleep till late :D

4D3N of OTC had been a learning experience for me. I've realised that there's a whole lot more to being a programmer. I've realised how stressful it is, how much brain juice we have to squeeze out of our brains. I had to overcome the state of blanking out whenever i speak to a big group of people. Learned to deal with last minute situations, climb into the forbidden swimming pool area to shower and more. Even learned how to use a walkie talkie ^^ Lazy to elaborate, let the pictures and timetables do the talking. Not everything stated in the timetables apply to us though. Credits to huimin for some of the photos.

Day zero was mainly the trying out and preparation etc. Theme of the camp was Mafia!
Got our army bags at $3! Cheap rightttt. Got 2 of the tees. Prepared logistics till around 5am for the games the next day. Slept at the corridor as it was cooler out there =/

Day 1

Taught the GLs the school song, hand sign song, mass dance. Executed our first station games, i kept blanking out x.x As it was our first try, received negative feedback and i was very discouraged, even wanted to be like shaun can go korea halfway through the camp! Tsk.



Day 2

Justin's birthday! Executed our second games, and feedback stated that i improved! :D Nightwalk was quite fail for engine school.

Day 3





After all the waiting for debrief, celebrating of chris' birthday, dinner at CPF building, i managed to take the last 969 back to yishun with sugar, jolene, ruting. And only reached home at around 1am! So the whole camp was in fact 4D4N @.@


This is our programmers' cheer! Inspired by L4D in hokkien. It's quite funny lol. And since the camp's theme is mafia, it's suitable.

And the rain dance from design school REALLY WORKS, whenever we do it it'll rain. Never failed before so far, out of all those i've seen.

After the whole of OTC, was super shag after only having about 3 hours of sleep everyday, and all the running around and mass dances. Shall blog about DOTC 1 the next time :) Clique let's go kbox quick!!
