Sorry for MIA! D: Was really lazy during the holiday and had no time to blog after school starts =/
Anyway shall mention abit about what i did :)

Last week of holiday, played pool with pbso early morning for many many rounds and funny things happened ;D He speaks cantonese like some hongkong auntie lor! Super hilarious LOL.

Ate sakae buffet with dearie and laughed alot too! (as usual) ;D Like really, laughed till much tears came out. One of the funny things that happened was: Dearie picked a plate of 2 sushis to try but realised it has wasabi taste which we both can't tolerate. But we can't be seen wasting food there so i told her she can hide it in the soup under the spoon after eating the complimentary udon. She did that with one sushi but couldn't hide the other one there. So i told her to hide it among the stacked plates. She was like "How can?!" I put the sushi between 2 plates and squashed it, and after lifting the top plate to see, we burst out laughing like mad xD
Then we wondered how the sushi would look if they're squashed right side up and vertically, so we took another plate of sushi for experiment :P

LMAO ;D And we did it really discreetly to prevent the waiters and manager from seeing. I even said that maybe if sakae finds out about this, they'll blacklist us, put our photos on every outlet and ban us from entering HAHAHA.


Watched Threads of Destiny and i don't think it's touching (though i cried a little, but that's because i cry very easily, normal people won't cry watching that show i suppose). Sky of Love (Koizora) was way better and more touching.

Went flea market @ Mt Sophia with dearie! I thought i wouldn't be able to get anything from there since everything was like very vintage (not my style). But still managed to get a few things in the end :D Went bugis after that.

After school started, i'm taking 2 new modules now. History of graphic design (9am-12pm) and 3D art fundementals (3-6pm). HisGD is boring but goooooood. We just have to go to the e-learning website to download lesson notes every weekday, read them, then do reflection and research, and submit online before 9am the next day. Straight forward and don't require talent. Best of all, we only have to attend lesson in school every tuesday. WHICH MEANS CAN WAKE UP LATER AND SIT ON THE BUS ON OTHER DAYS YAY :D

For 3DArtFund, we did blindfold object for the first day. We were given a lump of clay and supposed to close our eyes to mould it into any object. Result: the plane in the picture below :)


Next we had to make another object with our eyes open. I made the dolphin. But i realised it's too simple =/ Will do something more complicated for the next clay assignment.



Day 2, we did paper making! Yes we MADE paper! Super fun and interesting :DDD Procedure is something like that but less steps.


First we blend paper, of any colour you want, till they become very fine pulp. Pour it into a huge tub of water. Use a special screen to filter the pulp out A4 size. Lay the screen on newspaper, compressing the pulp onto the newspaper. Use a rag to absorb the water from the screen on the other side so the layer of pulp will not stick to the screen and stick to the newspaper instead. Repeat the process layer by layer, you can add leaves or other materials in the middle of the layers etc to decorate if you want, up to your creativity. Normally it takes about 4-5 layers i think. You can add more layers depending on how thick you want your paper to be. After that, lay the newspaper to dry for a day or two and you can take the paper out after that.

One of the 6 (or 7) papers i made :D Yet to dry. Will post the others next time!


We are to submit 6. And making one is already a really tedious process, you have to blend paper, fill can carry the heavy tub of water to the table everytime you want a new colour, need strength to rub the rag against the screen to absorb water, need to wring the wet cloth dry constantly too. Oh and it's not easy to filter out an even layer of pulp onto the screen, so it takes many tries for that. I could spend an hour or so making just one paper! :O So kept staying in the studio till late for a few days to finish by friday, submission on monday.

We also have another assignment to submit on monday which is an A3 3D paper sculpture inspired by Frank Stella. Has to be abstract which is something i don't think i've done before =/ Now i've only 1 more day to do it.


Friday i met sebas on the way home! So we travelled to yishun together. And on the way he taught me how to make a wire scorpion :D He showed me the steps and i followed. His one was screwed cause he cut the length wrongly so he modified it into a prawn instead.


My scorpion. Oops pincers too long and thin. And the tip was bent wrong direction in the photo (not bend downwards but towards each other, if not look like feelers) but i corrected it already. But not bad for first timer lah hor? :D

I REMOVED MY BRACES ALREADY :DDDDDDDDDDDD
There're a little gaps but the dentist said it'll be faster to adjust that with retainers. I've no idea why there's gaps recently when my teeth used to be overcrowded and i didn't pluck any teeth. Will collect my retainers on wed :) It feels so great without braces!!! Food won't get stuck in braces, easier and nicer to smile, and don't have to brush teeth with 2 toothbrushes already! :D

He was wearing a cap so wasn't easily recognized. But since he's really tall, i happened to look up and saw his face. After he walked past, i was jumping and shouting "Dai yang tian leh dai yang tian lehhhh!!!!!" while tapping my mum. Lol. She was like "Where where??" Then i pointed at his back view. He turned his head back abit probably after hearing his name, so confirm is him! Omg super happy! He's my 'ex-idol' but i still like him!




Awesome performance! They can sing and dance :D (refering to the second song) I like it when they take off their coat halfway and wear them back!


Anyway this is the mv for U R Man, 2 members aren't there 'cause they're busy with other things so these 3 formed a sub-group to produce a mini album.
