30th Jan, it was around the fifth sms i received that woke me up.
The first sms was by 74688, MOE. I'm posted to DCMD(Diploma in Creative Media Design), SP. My second choice. But those who know me well enough would know, to me, there's no 12 choices, only 1, which is VC(Visual Communication), TP. It's either i get in, or i fail. Some may say "At least it's your second choice" but there hadn't been any other choice available in my heart. It's all my wishful thinking and over-confidence. The higher i climb, the greater i fall. I've been telling everyone confidently that i'm going into VC, but the optimism brought more disappointment. Hate the uncontrollable tears.

Thanks those who comforted me and tried all means to cheer me up the first minute, especially pbso and sugar :) Will heed their advice and try appealing. I'm alright already, really :)

Maybe ruohan can't be my tour guide for my first day of school already. Sigh. My tour guide would be changed to zx instead. Haha. But nvm, if i can't get into VC even after the appeal, then maybe i'm not fated to be there. Maybe i'll be better off in DCMD, and travelling to SP would be more convenient too.

Looking forward to outing with pbso tmr for me to forget my troubles. Kbox! :D I hope my fever + sore throat + flu would be alright by tmr =/ So coincidental that he's a little unwell too.

Will blog more often, so that the posts will be shorter, and you people will have something to read more often :)

CNY day 1.
Outing with family friend's family. Caught Bride Wars at Tiong Bahru Plaza, then ate at sakae. Alvin claimed that i ate the whole restaurant though. Lmao. The movie's funny :D
Headed to Ikea and walked around. Bought these for friends :)


Crossed over to Anchorpoint for a drink + dessert at tcc, then bought some clothes.

Wednesday, followed mum to bai nian at her colleague's house, then went to watch The Wedding Game with dearie. The movie's quite nice, and hilarious :D Saw xinlin, again! :D
Met the rest at Bugis's Seoul Garden. We reeked of bbq after that D:

After the meal, we took damn long to discuss what to do next. Went to the water fountain to play, like everyone 'oyah beyah som!' then the last odd one out would have to run across the fountain ;D Saw limying!


Finished watching Full House, starring Rain & Song Hye Kyo. The theme song's really nice, and i'm gonna learn it on piano :D
It's draggy, but quite funny. Rain looks super adorable sometimes xD
But well, i don't find the show as good as expected. The same things keep happening, like they quarrel, move out of the house, go back again, quarrel again, move out again, go back again... And if you've watched it, if i'm Ji Eun i would have chosen Min Hyuk long ago lor, care so much about that sucky Young Jae for what. But it's always so sian lor, the second male lead is usually the nicest guy, very handsome(or even more handsome than the male lead), treats the female lead the best but doesn't get her in the end. I was dead beat on friday.

Five destinations in a day: CCHY, Kallang, Bugis, Orchard, Yishun central. Me wonderwoman! Haha.

CNY celebration at CCHY @ 10am. Not much alumnis went back though =/ Anyway, watched the concert, talked to a few teachers, and ate ba chor mee :D Gosh i miss the teriyaki rice, mee fen + sotong/curry, seaweed chicken, sushi, fishball noodles etc D: Also missed the auntie who remembers exactly what drink each of us in my clique always drinks.

Then went Kallang for ice skating. So ex lor, compared to Fuji Ice Palace =/ Plus gloves are compulsory there, if not must buy! >:( I have alot of gloves at home and i didn't bring, so have to buy it =/ And i didn't use them in the end because there's no need! Rah, waste my $$. Another thing is, they don't have packages. Wahhh, why must Fuji Ice Palace close down :( There wasn't much people there though, which was good!

Anyway, we skated for nearly 2 hours before the ice had to be resurfaced. Sy made a great improvement, and now she can skate without holding on to anything :) All thanks to us 3 encouraging shi fu's ;D
Seeing the pro skaters there made us yearn to be like them D: Jaslin and i felt like learning speed skating (mainly for hockey players), but we forgot to enquire about the fees =x

Headed to Bugis to shop after that. Had early dinner at Yoshinoya. The humid warm weather plus crowd dampened our shopping mood, so we didn't buy anything there except for jas.
Dearie and i wanted to shop at far east while the others wanted to go home, so we went our separate ways.

Far east is really much better can, in terms of environment and quality. Saw xinlin there :D
I got myself a tank top and red & black checkered jacket :D Love that jacket to bits. And dearie got her boots :) Just then, we realised we were running out of time for the job interview at 9.30pm!

So we trained to yishun, and were running late. After we got off, before we tapped our card, i asked: "Eh, why here got Bakery Point ah?" We paused and looked around, before realising that we got off at Khatib! LOL. We laughed and went "Shit!" as we went back up to wait for the next train.
We were saying that we always do silly things when only two of us are out together, because we're both really blur! ;D
Ran all they way through the underpass and interchange like crazy women, HAHA. Reached Kumon panting and sweating =/

Idk whether the interview is gonna have a possible positive outcome, as the teacher had doubts about whether we'll be free after poly starts, especially when our desired polys are a huge distance from yishun =/ We intended to work as assistant teachers i think, but they only need markers =/ I still wanna work there alot though, as i find it a joy to teach and work with young children around. Further more, the location is near and the working days are around 4 days a week. And when the teacher said "I'll call you back.", i didn't have a good feeling about it.

Legs were aching at the end of the day, and had a blister =/
But anyway, it feels good to have such a fulfilling day after so many days of rotting at home :)

It's the time for buying new clothes, making new year snacks and dishes, visiting of relatives and friends, receiving of red packets. It's the time for joy and reunion.
However, the festive mood isn't really into me somehow. First thing is, my relatives are scattered across the globe, only my mum and i are in Singapore. So there aren't much people we can visit or who can visit us. Will just have to visit mum's colleague's houses and our family friends. Reunion dinner will only consist of us two. Secondly, my mum doesn't really care about abiding by the tradition of buying new clothes for the new year :( She says i have alot of clothes already which is half true. Sad case for a girl like me. But it's okay when i think of the bright side though, because satisfaction = happiness. I should be satisfied with what i have :)

- So i was shortlisted for interview after applying for Joint Poly Special Admissions Exercise (JPSAE). I went TP and waited a long time before it was my turn for the interview. Presented my photos from my laptop, and answered alot of their questions. Sigh, i didn't have enough time to show them some others i like alot =/
Anyway, the interview was okay i guess, the 2 lecturers(i think) were all smiles and friendly :)

- Tell you something but cannot laugh at me.. I'm currently hooked onto Pokemon Ruby! Lol.
Yes i'm slowwww. I've only managed to play till crystal version that generation during primary school. =x Pokemon rocks okay. And i only catch chio/cute/cool pokemon :P I caught groudon with an ultra ball!
Lucky i have it to pass time, or else i would have been bored to death.

Yoketing sugar said she's aiming for a course in TP, Clarlynn bf said she wants to go to the same school & same course as me! Jiahui pretty said she wants to go TP next time too.

- Watched Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea. Well, i think ponyo isn't very cute afterall. =x And they're still so young, how can they talk about true love? The movie's exaggerating, but it's still quite nice. Guess i'll rate it 3.5/5.

How did i do? L1R4 = 14, L1R5 = 18. Considered so-so. Neither happy nor sad, just relieved.
Maybe because i've mentally prepared myself for the worst. But i'm still glad though; my results used to be full of CDEFs, but now they are only ABCs :D They're of a super nice order on the result slip too! ABBBBBC. Cool eh? Haha. But if add my chinese results (on a separate result slip taken last year), there's 2 As.
Anyway, my dream course i.e. Visual Communication @ TP requires 12 points =/
Think i'll be able to minus 2 points for my cca, but i'll still go for interview with my portfolio(my flickr album) to secure a place.

I hope this has answered everyone's questions, and i'm tired of people asking me the same thing with me answering the same thing, so i suppose you know what not to do. Rah, it's such a headache to choose my courses for the 12 choices =/

Congrats to those who did well! :) And those who didn't meet their expectations, at least you might be able to minus cca points, have a chance to appeal, your desired course might still take you in if there happens to be vacancies :)


Anyway, dearie and i went causeway point to eat sakae dinner buffet :D
We really stuffed ourselves till our tummies ached when we laughed very hard. We didn't manage to take picture of how many plates we ate because the waiter kept taking them away :(
And we actually ate for around 2 hours?! Lol. Chatted and laughed alot :D

Went for a shopping spree with darl at far east plaza. We didn't expect to buy much as we've been there many times before, and we used to get bored of the place. Unexpectedly, we bought alot of stuffs, and they were such great deals! :D
I bought 2 shorts, 1 top, 1 pouch, 1 necklace, 2 rings for $56.60! There's lots of discounts going on, that's why.

Bumped into Ruohan at the tunnel towards orchard mrt, but he didn't see me. I think i'm very pro lor, he was some distance away, in the squeezy crowd, i'm short he's tall, only saw a glimpse of his back view, and i could recognize! Lols.
