HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE! :D
The end of 2008 marks the beginning of 2009. May great memories of the previous year be cherished, bad memories forgotten, and create new memorable ones in the coming year :)

Went for countdown at Vivo with laogong/laopo, dearie, ed, qm and sherman.
Wanted to catch the channel 8 celebration, so we went to the rooftop at 9+pm after a movie. And i was so desperate to go vivo because got my Dai Yang Tian!!! :DDD But his hair sucked luh =/
Watched Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D, and it was quite thrilling at certain parts. But too bad it wasn't actually meant to be made as a 3D movie, so the effects of 3D aren't alot.
Bought a few bottles of vodka and potato chips, went to the rooftop, and sat down with the crowd to wait for the event to start.

THE COUNTDOWN SUCKED LAH =.= Wasted our time. From our position, we couldn't see the people on stage properly, and the screen was blocked by trees -.- Put the bloody screen so low for who to see?! The stage was selfishly positioned, because it faced the seats where no one can get behind it to watch, means only a small area of people could have a good view. Hence we could only watch by the side =/ They could have made the stage face the open space, so those who bought tickets can get closer views while those far away can have a proper view too. Worse of all, almost everyone around us were SO NOT HIGH. Only our group at our area screamed our heads off when the atmosphere was supposed to be high. So pissed off by those people luh, going there is to get high right? If not just sit there and watch something you can't even see properly then go home?

Anyway, we drank, and laogong/laopo became drunk first. Qm left, sherman was super red but not drunk. Ed, dearie and i were still sober. The celebrities on stage played lame shit games and the singers sang lame shit songs.
Suddenly, it was countdown. Lol. Everyone stood up, and counted. We expected to see fireworks, but they were so far (at marina i guess) we could only see smoke =/ Argh. Right after that, we still thought they would blast music and party, but no! It was leng2 chang3 for awhile, then they got some not-famous singers to sing some not-high song -.-

Dearie said: "You okay enough to take picture not?" Haha.

I felt horrible after drinking quite alot =/ We went to vivo's entrance to play water, but they weren't on =/ So i requested to sit on the grass as i felt like vomiting. I sat hugging my knees, head rested on my arms, and who knows, i fell asleep. Lol =x After they woke me up and walked awhile, i felt the vomit coming. Lucky there was a toilet nearby, and dearie dragged me there. Felt better after throwing up =/ Trained home.
Oh and on the train home, we saw some CCHY alumnis, and they came over to wish us happy new year even though we don't really know them :D

New year's day, clique came to my house to watch 不良笑花 dvd, and it certainly made us laugh alot ;D

Seoul Day 1-3.
Day 1
At the airport, when i was standing at the automatic door and it opened, wind gushing in, i went "woah". It was -4°C, as i've mentioned earlier. After going outdoors, we were shivering like crazy =/ And the irritating thing was, there was static electricity on my hair or something, so the ends of my hair got attracted to my face, argh.

It was sunrise when we reached :)

After checking in to the hotel, we slept till noon, and headed to Dongdaemun to shop. There's mainly cheap fashion and food. Too bad they're mostly winter wear so i couldn't get much clothes
=/ Got a pair of Converse shoes :D It's active at night, and there'll occasionally be mini performances by celebrities at small stages around the area.

Their food always come with small dishes.

Day 2

Visited Gyeongbokgung(palace). The place was boring =/ Then to Insa-dong to eat and look at their traditional stuffs. Next we went to Myeong-dong(somewhere like xi men ding in taiwan), to shop. The place has shops that sell clothes, accessories, brands, roadside stalls, restaurants etc.

Day 3
Mum's company's supplier is korean, and he was asked by her boss to bring us around for a day =x I think he's called Mr Shin? Not sure =x Anyway, he's super kind! He drove 2 hours to reach Seoul from his house, and treated us to food and tickets to Lotte World.
Lotte World's a theme park, many times bigger and prettier than Escape in Singapore :D They've more thrilling rides too, but i couldn't sit much as my mum was afraid :( I tried a few myself anyway.

This ride goes way up, then drops down suddenly. I took it, and when it dropped, my heart felt like it didn't come down with me. Even when i wanted to scream, the scream couldn't come out =/

Yummy.

The indoors.

Headed to Cheonggyecheon, where they have nice lights, for a stroll before dinner.

Oh and i've notices that alot of guys there like to bring out their dSLR cameras to take pictures, mostly of their girlfriends or wives and children.

To keep my post short, i didn't upload all the photos. You can click here to see all :)

Days 4 onwards would be in another post :)
